Right now, we’re on the hunt for an Accounts Payable Officer to help to continue developing us as a business.

In this role you will work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and be responsible for processing the General Pants Group accounts. You will ensure all liabilities to suppliers are recorded in an accurate and timely manner and suppliers are paid in accordance with trading terms and cash flow requirements.
The role you will play….
Enter all stock invoices in an accurate and timely manner
Match stock invoices to purchase orders and investigate and resolve all stock discrepancies
Enter all opex and capex invoices subject to invoice approval
Reconciling vendor statements
Managing AP inbox. Being the Point of contact for operational enquires from internal and external stakeholders
Ensure payment files are accurately prepared for approval by the AP manager
Assisting with month end closing
Maintaining a systematic filing system
You will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
You will be proactive and motivated
You will have exceptional problem-solving abilities, good planning, time management and organisational skills
You will have sound excel skills
SAP experience is essential
Demonstrate experience in a high-volume accounts payable role
Retail Experience or a working knowledge of retail businesses is desirable
