Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their finance team, commencing on Monday, 18th January 2021. This role is a part-time (4 hours x 5 days a week) 6-month contract and will suit a self-driven, organised individual who can establish and maintain relationships with other departments while maintaining the flexibility to work across several duties simultaneously and manage different deadlines. You will be reporting to the Finance Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities

Enter creditors bills and perform accounts payable task regularly.
Assist receivable team with invoicing and receipts when required.
Answering enquiries, providing advice and liaising with stakeholders.
Completing accounts reconciliations regularly and providing information to the reporting manager.
Track deposits made to bank and perform bank reconciliations task.
Reconcile credit cards transactions and update credit card tracker report with receipts.
Assist with month-end tasks and journal entries.
Maintain orderly financial filing system.
Compile information for compliance filing like BAS, Payroll Tax, Super etc.
Any other duties as directed.
The successful candidate

Experience with General Accounting
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent numerical skills and analytical skills
