Job Details

DescriptionTo assist department in processing and filing paperwork appropriately.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities

File and archive paperwork in alphabetical, numerical or chronological sequence for easy retrieval.

File or retrieve paper documents and related materials.

Move inactive files to archive filing.

Maintains patient confidentiality.

Create new records as necessary.

Performs duties as requested by the Department Supervisor specific to that department.

Assist in the smooth flow of paperwork and information within the office.

Collect and distribute appropriate records as needed.

When necessary, provide assistance to others when workloads increase.

Communicates problems and concerns to supervisor/office manager.
