Roles and Responsibilities HSE officer/Manager:HSE officer/Manager roles and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:

Create/Review risk assessment for facilities/projects activities under his responsibilities.

Continually Record and Regularly report on HSE performance to line manager/HSE team.

Contribute in incidents investigations, creation and implementation of action plans.

Contribute in the efforts of continuous improvements of HSE performance.

Ensure HSE communications between company and employees are properly maintained.

Organize, conduct, and maintain records of HSE training sessions.

Ensure that proper PPEs are provided to all employees and maintain records.

Technically Support PPE procurement process.

Ensure that company staff and contractors are competent to work on the job they are assigned.

Support Business unit/country in local operations HSE requirements of tenders/projects.

Ensure proper deployment of applicable HSE international standards and company strategy.

Support project managers in projects HSE management as per applicable processes.

Conduct customer sites/Partners HSE audits, document and report findings, create and follow up on action plans.

Propose and contribute in deployment of continuous improvement of HSE across the organization.

Maintain HSE compliance locally in line with relevant standards.

Organize/conduct company facilities HSE inspections and reviews

Co-Create and drive Implementation of Emergency Action Plans.

Coordinate Implementation of Fire Prevention Program and fire drills.

Organize/conduct new-hire safety training and follow-up interaction for new employees.

Liaise closely with the Facilities Management team to manage issues relating to the facilities service provision, and specifically waste disposal, buildings, fire safety equipment, electrical testing and safety audit non-compliances.

Review relevant safety signage and overall site safety of facility/project scope.

Review and record the First Aid kit provision and firefighting system/extinguisher calibration.

Ensure that business processes and activities are in line with OHSAS18001/ISO45001 and ISO14001.

Create and maintain Emergency response team for facility/branch/Business unit.

Contribute in internal audit process and external audit for Safety and Environment standards.
