Deputy Clerk I (Part-Time) – Artesia – USA Job Vacancy
This position will perform recording and filing, issue marriage license, register voters, assist the public with record retrieval and assist the early-absentee board during elections. Employee will be required to become a voting machine technician and work, train, and assist poll officials during elections. Will be required to learn the laws that govern Elections. Employee will read legal instruments and determine if they meet the statutory requirements for recording, and determine the recording fees for such documents. Employee will scan and archive recorded documents and be familiar with office computer equipment such as: scanners, copier, printers, computers, Dymo label printers. A typing test is required.
