Accounting Internship

Your Tasks
SCHOTT is seeking a bright college or university student to intern with our Corporate Marketing Department located in Elmsford, NY. The chosen candidate must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during the college breaks and during the college semester. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Corporate Marketing, the Marketing intern will provide support to the department that includes, but is not limited to:

Organize and coordinate necessary resources for various trade shows including all tradeshow activities

Align various sponsorship requirements including tradeshow vendor, company departments and all internal and external communications

Prepare tradeshow calendars, highlighting deadlines, and support functions

Order samples and coordinate shipment with tradeshow vendor

Prepare media kits to promote each show

Edit content on microsite and create and deploy evites to show attendees

Promote product and show material on social media channels

Prepare and deploy online advertising campaign

Coordinate with other project managers on upcoming show schedule

Other projects and duties assigned

Your Profile

Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or other related field

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during the college semester and breaks

Prior experience in an office environment highly desired

Self-starter who can work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision

Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people and independently

Organizational, communication (verbal & written), and time management skills are essential

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with excellent command of the English language

Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and in pressure situations

Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

Understanding of marketing techniques

Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords, Social Media Channels)
